Objectives:
The objective of this work package is to
provide a complete design flow for embedded
controller for safety critical application.
The flow will contain the results of all
work packages. This work package is the
integration of the results of the entire
project. It will see all partners involved
and hopefully will be the master –plan for
the design of embedded controllers for
safety critical systems. |

Work Description:
The
overarching concepts will be taken from the
work package on platform-based design. The
initial steps of the flow will include the
determination of the control algorithms
using the hybrid system formalism. Then, the
embedded software development step will be
taken in close coordination with hardware
architecture selection using the theory of
meta-models. When moving from one level of
abstraction to the next, the mapping tools
will be applying the principles of
implementation platform export when
optimizing the choices at a given layers of
abstraction. Successive refinement will be
enforced. The tools used in the flow will be
using the meta-model as an integration
mechanism. |

Deliverables
DDF1: Report on overall design flow.
Development and distribution of case studies
of design flow modeling and related
meta-model based design flow modeling in 2
selected domains.
DDF2: Testing of the methodology on the two
test cases. Reports on finding and feedback
on the other work packages.
